Who are we

Mayekawa is a leading manufacturer of industrial refrigeration compressors and thermal engineering company.
In addition, we support the automation of meat processing livestock lines in Thailand with our unique deboning robots.

Mayekawa (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established in 1988 as a sales and service platform for the products of Mayekawa Mfg. Co., Ltd. Currently, we sell industrial refrigeration compressors, provide after-sales service, carry out plant design and installation of refrigeration facilities, and manufacture and sell freezers for frozen foods.
In recent years, in the field of poultry industry in Thailand, we are responding to the needs of factory automation with automatic deboning robots.

In July 2021, Mayekawa (Thailand) has opened a Bangladesh Liaison Office as the first oversea office. MYCOM compressors and Mayekawa’s thermal engineering have been highly evaluated in the expanding market in Bangladesh such as fisheries, food processing, ice cream and cold storage.

As part of the global Mayekawa organisation, our mission is to ensure our products contribute to food safety, taste, quality, affordability and stable supply by providing a variety of technologies that are labour efficient, add value, facilitate new product development, save energy and are environmentally friendly.
In the energy field, we are endeavouring to create a 21st century model energy society through innovations in refrigeration technology, energy saving technology, natural refrigerant technology, and CO2 reduction technology.

Mayekawa has expanded its business by focusing on refrigeration and compression technologies ever since its establishment in 1924.
As a thermal engineering company we have long contributed to providing business solutions to our customers based on these technologies and in turn continuously evolved our technology and services.

This process is indicative of our business development style whereby Mayekawa creates ‘cocreation=kyousou=共創’based on trust with our customers to develop ‘Basho=場所’, Mayekawa’s unique concept of problem solving in which Mayekawa engineers and our customers collaborate closely by sharing a common challenge and vision, and synthesizing knowledge without functional/organizational boundaries. Synchronization with customers’ vision is the key, and in such Mayekawa has succeeded in creating a unique market where no other competitor can enter, thus freeing competitive energies for utilization in creative initiatives.

Our Mission

Mayekawa Manufacturing celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2024. Our
founder, Kisaku Maekawa, set sail from Mayekawa Manufacturing eight months after the Great Kanto Earthquake, with the aim of contributing to society and humanity through refrigeration and ice-making technology in a Japan in a state of extreme turmoil.

Nearly 100 years have passed since we set sail, and it can be said that today’s uncertain world overlaps exactly with the era in which Kisaku Maekawa lived. I believe that it is our company’s mission to continue to take on social issues, without forgetting our founding aspirations, especially in times like these. We must think about what kind of social contribution we should make in this era, and what it means for people to continue their business and survive while growing, and then we will actively get involved in issues such as responding to social issues such as climate change and ensuring diversity.

We have recently established a “Sustainability Policy” centered on our mission, aiming to achieve both “sustainable improvement of our corporate value” and “challenge to solve social issues.” The sustainability
policy is based on strengthening governance and safety-oriented corporate activities, and aims to improve our corporate value by spiraling up “self-development,” “technological innovation,” and “service to humanity,” and to continuously challenge to solve social issues. To achieve this, we will incorporate sustainability issues into our mid-term business plan and proceed with our activities.

We will continue to uphold the spirit of “serving humanity” that has been passed down since our founding, and will continue to engage in dialogue and collaboration with our stakeholders – customers, business partners, employees, and local communities – as we work to develop technologies that help solve social issues.
