Mayekawa (Thailand) Participates in a Meeting on Reducing Chlorofluorocarbon Emissions in the Industrial and Building Sectors
December 3, 2024 – Mayekawa (Thailand) Co., Ltd. had the honor of participating in the meeting titled “Formulation and Implementation of Cooperation Strategies on Reducing chlorofluorocarbon Emission in Developing Country”, organized by the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, Government of Japan (MOEJ). The event was held at Meeting Room 204, 2nd Floor, Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning.
The meeting aimed to exchange knowledge and develop strategies to reduce fluorocarbon (refrigerant) emissions, which contribute to climate change. Key focuses included refrigerant lifecycle management, transitioning or modifying refrigerants used in industrial processes, and promoting the adoption of natural refrigerants such as ammonia.
Representing Mayekawa (Thailand) were Mr. Kosuke Yamamoto, Mr. Jun Oshima and Mr. Kitti Jitkasem, who shared in-depth insights on natural refrigerant technologies. These technologies help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and were highlighted as practical solutions for industrial and large-scale building applications in Thailand.
